Chapter 19

A teardrop falls from my eye onto the book. I look up and discover that i am back in my room, tears streaming down my cheeks. I am not sure how the book got into my lap for i was certain the computer had been sitting between my legs before i fell into a trance. Then again, i am not even sure if this was actually a trance. It felt so real. My heart is racing and the tears continue to fall onto my clothes.

If the words that are written in the book and my dreams are but one in the same they probably tell of a time when faeries and humans walked the earth side by side as companions. Somehow from this book i understand that part of my heritage is from Aurora. That she is the one whose life and love gave us the right to continue believing in fae and the Goddess and that majick can and still exists in this world. I wipe the teardrops off the paper. The book falls from my lap onto the bed at an angle and opens to the last page of the book. Inside there is an inscription, similar to the one i found inside the first page of the book. The penmanship of this inscription however, differed in style to the one in front of the book. It read,

To my dearest Aurora,
The guiding light of my soul,
The spark of fire in my heart.
To thee i give you this book,
A testament to all i know, and to help
You live life as you want to.
And thee harm none,
Do as thy will.
Love others and yourself,
that is the key. For without love,
There cannot be any majick.
Fire, water, wind, and stone
All come together to greet the great spirit.
And it is with her and the four that we are made
Into one. One mind, one love, one race.
I am you and you are me,
Always and forever.
So Mote It Be.

Rayne MourningStar of the Fae

I hug the book to my chest and look up as i feel warmth spread a kiss across my face. I know understand what this all means. We are all connected. Life moves in a circle, we have once been, we are now, and we always will be. There is only majick and energy and it holds us together and gives us a way to communicate throughout the ages. The sun is out and it is a new day. I set the book besides me and wander outside to greet it as it rises. I feel slightly lighter than i ever felt and the sun appears more dazzling than i ever saw. I reach around me and discover two tiny pairs of faerie wings lightly floating in the morning breeze, a small reminder of the journey i just stepped onto and walked from.
