Fate and Freewill
Fate and freewill are but the best of friends. They are always together, sharing each other's clothes. Where one speaks her mind freely, the other assimilates and conforms. Freewill is herself always. Who she is, was, and could be are all woven together.
Once Fate asked Freewill what her future was and Freewill replied, "The future is yours. You can be whatever you wish. Itís all up to you to chase after the
dreams."
Unfortunately, fate believed a different tune. In her song, she allowed others to weave her future for her. She was just along for the ride, she said. To Fate, the stars had already planned out who and what she would become , just not how to get there. In grade school, Freewill sat next to Fate and told her stories
about Destiny. Destiny was a handsome boy. Older, a little wiser, but still fun to be with. They both wanted to date him.
Freewill always does things by herself. She rarely asks for anyone elseís help. She's a free spirit who enjoys discovering life on her own terms. Sure she falls. But she believes that it makes her a better person. Her bright, flame red hair is always blowing in the wind. And the dresses she wears are just as extravagant as she is. No one can tell her how to live her life.
Fate is conservative. Her voice is small and melodic. Her eyes betray the universe and their plans. She takes delight in listening to those around her. She accepts what they say as facts, never letting her instincts doubt the validity of what they say. Eventually, their ideas become hers and she always looses
sight of who she truly is. Faerietale endings become her life and she never goes anywhere without Destiny.
She would rather have someone else make the decisions while she rides the wave.
