Entrophy in Motion

Old wings give ways
To the new silk
An army’s feast
Of destruction
Entropy in motion
The poetry of life.

Fast, motionless
All bundled up in
One succulent feast
Only to return next spring
Entropy in motion
To complete the cycle
Once again.

An army of ants
Scavengers of decay
Hoarding the butterfly prey
Unbelievable to flight
They will move on
To more decay.
Never pausing- pondering
Old life they have taken
Entropy
